We set sail from Nettuno harbour, an hour south of Rome. About five hours of sailing brings us to Palmarola and Ponza: sea stacks, grottoes and water as clear as anywhere in the Mediterranean. Each outing follows the wind and the sea, at the skipper’s discretion.
